Cull first and save.

QuikData is a lightweight, browser-based hosted eDiscovery platform designed to reduce discovery volume – and cost – before data ever enters full review. With early-stage filtering, multiple large language models (LLMs), and an affordable, user-friendly interface, QuikData is ideal for teams that prioritize speed and savings without compromising defensibility.

Proteus offers QuikData as part of our technology-agnostic suite of hosting platforms. For legal teams focused on reducing processing and hosting costs, QuikData’s functionality provides a smart, strategic first step.
QuikData Hosted eDiscovery

Core Platform Features

QuikData is well suited for legal teams that want to minimize downstream review burdens and cost exposure through early filtering and deduplication. Its self-service design is particularly appealing for repeatable, cost-conscious workflows.
Early-stage culling: to reduce data volumes before ingestion into review platforms
Multiple LLM options: to support automated, AI-assisted filtering
Deduplication and thread suppression:to remove redundant content and shrink review sets
Granular filtering: by date, keyword, custodian, file type, and more
OCR and indexing:for image-based or unstructured data
Platform-agnostic export: to Relativity, Everlaw, Reveal, CS Disco, and others
Browser-based interface with on-prem scalability for larger deployments

QuikData + Proteus: Strategic Support at Every Stage

QuikData is powerful in its simplicity, but to ensure results are defensible and targeted, Proteus configures the tool with your matter and data profile in mind. With a dedicated project manager, we help ensure early-stage workflows are aligned with the needs of your legal team, review platform, and discovery timeline.
Our support includes:
• Filter design and validation before ingestion
• Reporting on volume reductions and filtering outcomes
• Workflow setup to integrate with your downstream review platform
• Seamless transition to Managed Document Review or Hosted eDiscovery services
• Custom export packaging to other platforms
If you’re comparing early-stage tools or need to lower hosting costs, our Hosted eDiscovery Decision Tree can help evaluate your options.

When QuikData Makes Sense

QuikData is often the right fit when:
• You need to quickly reduce volume before hosting or review
• Cost control is a priority and the case doesn’t require deep analytics
• You want faster project kickoff with self-service access
• Your team is already comfortable with multiple platforms and needs a pre-review filter layer
As with all hosted technology, Proteus ensures QuikData is deployed strategically, integrating culling, export, and review into a single, defensible workflow.
